A Latin-American freelance engineer, producer and musician. Xavi started his career in 2011 after spending some years studying music and electronic design in his city, Bogotá. He has been involved in the development of soundtracks for games and apps and has worked with classical ensembles and orchestras.
He has also been promoting the Colombian rock and metal scene, since 2011 he has been involved in the Mountain Metal Fest of Bogotá. As a member of the selection committee he has been in charge of the evaluation of more than 500 bands, to pick the artist roster for a 30.000 people festival.
In 2017 Xavi moved to Manchester, U.K. and started to mix live concerts, make recordings on location and mix different studio projects alongside extraordinary musicians like David Ferris, Tom Ollendorff and Difussion, among others. In recent years, he has worked recording live concerts and sessions for several artists like Versus, Ukamau and La Filantropika. Recently he has moved to Wellington NZ, the music capital of the continent.
